<aside> 💡 PiliPINAS 2022 is a commissioned project by Brainstorm.ph geared towards the upcoming Philippine General Election. It seeks to gather information on the candidates running for the national offices. Data would include personal, socio-civic, and political profiles. The project title is a play on two Filipino words - “Pili” and “Pinas” - short for “Piliin ang Pilipinas”, which translates to “choose the Philippines”. We hope that with the data gathered through this project, Filipinos will vote for the candidates who choose the good of the country over other interests.

<aside> 🎨 Project Approach

The project provides clear and objective data on the candidates of the upcoming 2022 Philippine elections. The research team began with mapping the key situations and issues faced by the country. Looking through the platform of each candidate and their public pronouncements on the issues, the study attempts to align these with their track record and previous actions and statements.
